What is cyber assurance service?
The Cyber Assurance Service is designed to identify vulnerabilities, provide an understanding of key security risks, and provide remediation advice.
The Cyber Assurance Service primarily consists of an IT Health Check that provides an in-depth technical assessment of the organisation covering both external & internal infrastructure, key security systems and procedures. It also forms a high-level technical assurance assessment of 57 key Data Security and Protection Toolkit assertions.
The Cyber Assurance Service is an evolution of the Data Security Assessments with the inclusion of servers and identification of several critical security flaws commonly exploited by attackers, and removal of Cyber Essentials Plus.
The Cyber Assurance Service is offered annually to eligible NHS Organisations and can be fully funded by NHS England.
