New BS 7799 Implementation Course

Dionach in conjunction with Certification Europe are pleased to announce the first dates of the BS 7799 implementation course, the latest in a successful series of 7799 implementation courses delivered to the European market.

BS 7799 is the recognised standard for benchmarking Information Security Management Systems (ISMS) within an organisation. This 2 day course is designed purposefully for industry professionals with the responsibility for implementing an ISMS within their organisation.

The course will give participants a thorough knowledge and understanding of the BS 7799 standard and its requirements. It will not only introduce participants to the requirements of 7799, but will detail the management system approach to implementing security controls. Day 1 concentrates on the requirements of an ISMS, including preparation for the implementation of the system. Day 2 will walk participants through the 10 sections of BS 7799 and the key requirements of each section.

This course has also been expanded to incorporate the recent requirements of BS 7799-2:2002.
